The product, in the report: 50-30 Amp Adapter. Part number 16-00555HD

I purchased a 50 to 30 amp adapter, 220V to 125V, from Home Depot. The item is new and unaltered. Upon applying power there was an immediate explosion and fire at the breaker. I hired a licensed electrician to inspect and repair the damage. The electrician analyzed everything that I was using and found that the adapter I purchased was incorrectly wired during production. I have the adapter, original packaging and receipt.
