This computer charger sparks when plugging it in. Thinking nothing of it, I continued use of this product as I needed to charge my computer. My son ran into my room this morning as I was sleeping as was yelling about smoke and sparks. I enter the living room to see this item smoking and sparking while burning a hole into my newly installed carpet. I have contacted Amazon (place of purchase) for a refund and to settle the repairs to the carpet. Had I not been home, I would have lost my home today to a fire.
