The product, in the report: Type C USB cable. Orange braided.
I experienced a horrible event with a phone charging cable. I had it plugged into the vehicle USB port. It was not plugged into my phone at the time. I started to smell something burning and then felt a burning sensation on my leg. When I looked down the C Style USB was melting into my jeans. I yanked it out of the vehicle USB port and pulled over to the side of the road as quickly as possible to figure out what was going on.
