The product, in the report: Anker Powerbank, used to charge through USB devices like phones and tablets. It is not listed under any current Anker recall.
I plugged in my Anker PowerCore 10400 A1214 late last night. It was empty, and when I plugged it in, it had one blinking LED light. I came back this morning, and all the LED’s were lit, but the last one was blinking. I unplugged it, and picked it up and burned my hand. I ran my hand under cold water, and I am ok, but it was WAY WAY too hot to be safe. The unit was super super hot, and luckily it didn’t catch anything nearby on fire as I had it on a table. I checked against the existing Anker recalls and this was not listed as one of them, but I am concerned this is a fire hazard. I have not thrown it out yet, but will hold on to it if further inspection is needed.
