The product, in the report: Portable iPhone and iPad charger
Product: PNY Model AD10400 Type of Product: Portable charger for iPhone and iPad Incident: Charger was located on side table, not being charged and not charging any device. The charger began making a low humming noise and then exploded and burst into flames. Since I had a thermos of water on the table I was able to extinguish the blaze. The explosion and fire caused burning damage to my leather chair, my carpeting and my side table. Had I not been home, I believe this could have caused my house to catch fire and cause massive damage and killed my dogs. I have reported this to the company via email.
