The product, in the report: Native Union Jump Cable
The product, called Native Union Jump Cable was plugged into a wall outlet in the kitchen. The [REDACTED] was not plugged into it. My dog, who was in the kitchen, saw/ smelled smoke arising from the product 10-15 minutes before I smelled smoke from another room, and started barking. This occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m. After the dog started barking, we were able to grab the product by the cord, disengage it from the wall outlet, and throw it outside on the patio. The lithium battery was melted, as was the product. Smoke was billowing out from under the cabinet. The house had to be aired out by turning on fans and opening doors. The oder was present for several days.
