The product, in the report: backup battery case for IPhone 3G

battery pack case manufactured by MiLi model # H1-C10, originally purchased from IGear, approximiatly 2 years ago or so. This is a case that contains a companion battery to add extended battery life for longer usage. It has worked great. You plug it in with the phone seated in it and it charges both the phone, and spare battery at the same time. This morning I got up and unplugged the device, and set it on the kitchen table, as usual. after about 10 minutes it went off like a roman candle, spewing sparks, and caught fire. I flung it off the table, and luckily the IPhone disconnected, not damaging the phone. The battery pack is a melted glob of plastic !

Luckily I was up at the time, and not driving or carrying it on my person !

    Extreme fire hazard !!!!!

I can send pics if needed, and do still have the burned up mess !
