The product, in the report: this product is a case for a cell phone that can charge a phone also. its like a portable charger.

My daughter recieved a charging phone case for christmas from a company called Luxylemon. This past Sunday the case started on fire while sitting on my daughters nightstand. Now this case has not been used for several weeks and has not been plugged in to charge either. Thankfully she noticed it right away and got it out of her room and into a nearby sink. My wife got it outside where it continued to smolder for a couple hours. Our home would have burned to the ground if we would have been gone. I immediately tried to contact the company on their [REDACTED] page which I believe is where they do most of their business. i was promptly blocked from sending them any information. i sent them two emails and late last night i got a response and they stated they will let management know and offered me a couple free phone cases for my trouble. I feel that consumers need to know that this product is a fire hazard and it has become obvious to me that this company does not care that this product is dangerous if not deadly. This very well could have ended in a tragedy. Please look into this and email me if you need any video or pictures of this case. thank you. [REDACTED]
