The product, in the report: Leapfrog power adapter. Model AD530-US White box and cord, all 1 piece with USB charger end.
Leapfrog Epic tablet was taken out of the box tonight and charged for the first time. Instructions in the box said we could save time by setting up tablet while charging. My son was holding the tablet when he suddenly screamed and jumped. As I looked down I saw that the charger was burning a hole in our bedding. I quickly unplugged the charger which was bright red and smoking. My son has a burn to his leg, and my bed has 2 holes from the charger which is melted. It appears there is melted plastic around the charge port of the tablet.
