  1. No one hurt

Made Mar 11, 2026, sent to the company Mar 16, 2026, published by CPSC Mar 30, 2026

The product, in the report: Magnetic Portable Charger 10800mAh Wireless Power Bank with foldable stand and LED display, 25W USB-C input/output fast charging external battery pack compatible with [REDACTED] devices. [REDACTED]

A residential fire occurred on November 5, 2025 inside a bedroom of a home. The fire caused major damage to the residence and destroyed personal belongings. The responding fire department investigated the incident and the fire marshal declared the home uninhabitable on the same day.

The fire department report identified the origin of the fire as computer equipment located in the room. [REDACTED]

After the fire, several additional inspections were conducted by fire investigators and forensic engineers representing insurance companies and product manufacturers. During a joint inspection on March 10, 2026, investigators examined both the computer equipment and a portable magnetic battery charger that was located on the desk at the point of origin.

The charger and computer equipment were collected as evidence and transported to a forensic laboratory in Jacksonville, Florida for examination. Because the charger contains a lithium-ion battery and may have been involved in the fire, I am submitting this report so the product can be reviewed for possible safety hazards.
