Homeowner was charging a battery pack for an RC Airplane when the battery pack entered thermal runaway causing a fire in the garage. Homeowner was able to remove the batteries into the driveway where they continued to burn. The battery pack was an HRB 3300mAh / 2,6S / 14.8V unit. The battery was being charged from a Hobbyfans B6 LiPRO Balance Charger.
