The product, in the report: Product: HETP Magnetic Portable Charger
I am submitting this report to document a serious safety incident involving my HETP 10,800mAh Magnetic Portable Charger.
On August 26, 2026, I was inside my home preparing to leave when I suddenly heard a hissing sound coming from the area where the charger was located on my kitchen countertop.
Within moments, the charger violently ignited/exploded and produced a significant open flame on the countertop.
I immediately ran to the kitchen and used a fire blanket to cover the device and prevent the fire from spreading further through my home.
During my efforts to contain the fire, I sustained a minor burn. Fortunately, the incident did not result in a larger house fire or more serious injuries.
The event was extremely concerning because this was a consumer charging device being kept and used inside my home around my family. There was little to no warning other than the hissing sound immediately before the device ignited.
