The product, in the report: Product brand: eRqILUJI, ASIN: B0B24TX1QG, B0C8DBM1VC, Product link: (https://www.amazon.com/Light-Socket-Adapter-Converter-Outlet/dp/B0B24TX1QG/ref=zg?th=1), the product color: white, the product name: 2 Pack, Light Socket to Plug Adapter, Convert Light Bulb Socket to Outlet Adapter (White). Product size: 1.3”W x 1.8”H
Certainly, this situation is highly concerning. I purchased the eRqILUJI lamp holder converter from Amazon, but unfortunately, I was unaware that I was acquiring a potentially hazardous product. Despite using the product as instructed, it malfunctioned, leading to ignition and explosionan event more characteristic of a battlefield than a residential setting. Upon further investigation, it became evident that the product does not comply with American electrical safety standards. The grounding connection is non-functional, which poses significant risks. Additionally, after reviewing numerous reports of fires and explosions involving this product on the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) official website, it is alarming that the product remains available for purchase. This incident resulted in burns to my hand, and there is a legitimate concern regarding the potential for future incidents to result in fatalities.
