The product, in the report: Brand: EEweca [2-Pack] Charger Cable for Fitbit Inspire 3 (3.3 ft/1.0 ft) Amazon’s Choice https://a.co/d/0bHZOUK7 ASIN B0BJYNKVN8
I am reporting an unsafe product involving a charger cable for the [REDACTED], purchased on Amazon. The charger had been plugged in by my nightstand for several weeks without any issues. On July 26, 2026, I noticed a strong plastic and electrical burning smell coming from the area. When I checked the charger, I discovered that it had partially melted and deformed from overheating.
No injuries occurred, but this incident presented a clear fire hazard. The charger was stationary, properly connected, and used exactly as intended. The melting and burning odor indicate a dangerous electrical failure. I am submitting this report so the product can be reviewed for safety and to prevent potential harm to other consumers.
