  1. No one hurt

Made Aug 5, 2024, sent to the company Aug 15, 2024, published by CPSC Aug 29, 2024

The product, in the report: Diehard DH110 jump starter power pack

Was charging my diehard jump starter in garage and my daughter came in and said that something smelled like smoke in garage. When I went out there the battery charger was smoking and I immediately unplugged it. It was very hot to the touch, so not only the internal parts must have an issue but it could have very likely burnt my house down. The charger had been charging approximately 45 min when this was noticed.
