Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made Sep 17, 2026, sent to the company Sep 22, 2026, published by CPSC Oct 6, 2026

The product, in the report: Charge Worx Dual USB Power Bank 5000mAh, CX6826BK, DESIGNED BY FESCO, ASSEMBLED IN CHINA, Pocket Size, Dual Port, Output: 5 V/2 A

I purchased a quantity of Charge Worx Dual USB Power Bank 5000mAh units, used four only to have the four used (to illuminate small LED Christmas lights) and five of the unused burst out of the plastic casing. No fire or chemical burn has yet occurred because I am careful but I have isolated all units in a waterproof steel box outside away from buildings. I’m afraid to use the remaining unit. Is there a recall of this product so that no one is hurt?
