I bought the baseus powerbank from amazon (Baseus Portable Chargers Recalled Due to Fire Hazard; Sold on Amazon.com by Shenzhen Baseus Technology) I charged it until 88%, then I stop it, it was on an small table in the sleeping room and I was not at home, the power bank exploded an a fire starts heaven thanks my wife detected it and she put it on a iron plate and put it outside the house.
I made a report to amazon - no answer I made a report to baseus in China - no answer We had so much luck, ten minutes later the house would burn, explained me a men from the fire brigade. I made some pictures if you need I can send it

A 30Ah lithium power bank for charging laptops and smartphones exploded and caught fire while being charged with compatible usb-c charger to 63% charge. This power bank had been charged without incident or any noticeable signs of damage to the battery for weeks before this incident. This incident lead to the whole house fire damage mitigation and loss of a majority of personal belongings. While the fire was put out minutes after the thermal runaway event, the smoke and soot contaminated the whole 1700 square foot plus house. Home occupants including myself were exposed to lithium battery fire emissions such as hydrogen fluoride, sulfur dioxide, heavy metals, other acids, biphenyl and more than likely other hazardous materials. Occupants report symptoms of loss of taste, numbness in mouth/gums, dizziness, blurred vision, memory loss, loss of concentration, nose and bleeding in stools, hair loss, and tinnitus.

I am reporting a dangerous battery fire from a Baseus portable battery charger that could have resulted in a serious apartment fire if we had not dealt with it within a few seconds of it happening. Luckily we are only dealing with the fumes and smoke residual.
We were sitting in our apartment when we heard a strange hissing noise from the Baseus Portable Charger battery. ( Baseus Portable Charger, 30,000mAh Power Bank 65W ) It was plugged in and sitting on a wooden table. Within a few seconds it started emitting clouds of smoke and then sparks. I ran to get a plastic bucket and grabbed the hot battery and tossed it into the bucket and ran outside our apt to the fire escape. I placed it on the metal stairway where it caught fire very quick. Lots more smoke and flames. I had buckets of water to put it out within a few minutes. We got very lucky that we were in the same room, saw it within a seconds and dealt with it right away.

I am reporting an incident involving a Baseus Magnetic Power Bank purchased from Amazon on July 7, 2023. The details of the incident are as follows:
What happened that made you want to report? The power bank exploded spontaneously in the middle of the night, without being touched, plugged in, or charged. This explosion caused a fire, which resulted in bodily injury and significant property damage.
What type of product(s) were being used? The product in question is the Baseus Magnetic Power Bank.
Who was using the product(s)? The power bank was not actively being used at the time of the explosion. It was placed on a desk in my sons room while he was watching a movie.
How were the product(s) being used? The power bank was not being used when the explosion occurred. It was simply placed on the desk and was neither plugged in nor charging.
Were there any injuries that happened or may have happened while using the product? Yes, my son suffered injuries. His foot and leg were burned as a result of the explosion.
How did any injuries occur? The injuries occurred because the power bank exploded right next to my son while he was in the room. The explosion caused a fire, which led to the burns on his foot and leg.

I was using a portable battery for my [REDACTED]. It exploded near me, resulting in many 2nd degree burns, an apartment that was not livable anymore, hari singed off, and more. I was using the product as it was intended to be used. I come to find out that this product since then has been recalled. I would love financial compensation for the injuries and damage it caused.
