The product, in the report: Aobbow Magnetic Portable Charger, 10000mAh for Magsafe Battery Pack, 20W Fast Charging Power Bank, (Sold on Amazon
On April 25th, 2026 I was charging an aobbow magnetic portable [REDACTED] phone charger (purchased on Amazon) on my countertop when it exploded and shot out white hot flames ( 2 feet away from my 14 month old daughter) in the dining room of my house. Luckily I was at the dinner table when this happened and was able to get my daughter safely into another area of the house and used a fireplace shovel and towel to safely get the burning power bank out of my house and on to my concrete driveway to let it burn out. Important note: the previous day I flew on a [REDACTED] flight from Miami to Seattle with this power bank in my pocket during the flight.

The product, in the report: Black magnetic portable charger / power bank, 10000mAh lithium-ion battery, 5-in-1 portable charger with built-in cable, 20W fast charging, [REDACTED]. Purchased from Amazon.com. Seller listed as Aobbow.
A magnetic portable power bank / lithium-ion portable charger purchased from Amazon.com caught fire / exploded while charging indoors at home. The product was being used for normal charging purposes. It suddenly burned, produced smoke and heat, and became severely damaged and destroyed. The fire also caused burn damage to the household table / surface where it was charging.
No one was physically injured, but this created a serious fire and burn hazard. If the fire had not been noticed quickly, it could have spread to nearby household items and caused more serious property damage or injury.
The burned power bank, charging cable, and related evidence have been preserved. Photos of the damaged power bank and burned table are available.
