  1. No one hurt

Made Jan 5, 2022, sent to the company Jan 7, 2022, published by CPSC Jan 31, 2022

The product, in the report: Third party charging case for [REDACTED. Compatible with for Wireless [REDACTED] Charging Case Replacement, Compatible with for [REDACTED] Charger Case with Bluetooth Pairing Sync Button. I am away from home staying in Florida until 2/10/2022 so I don’t have the box it came in with me. I have exchanged messages with the third party seller but their information is anonymous. They offered me a refund. I have told them that is not enough as it caused damage to the [REDACTED] and the charger and that they should recall the item. Amazon has supposedly removed the item but has identical items with the same description for sale on their web site. I believe these are all manufactured by the same anonymous manufacturer. I spoke to Amazon and provided them with the picture of the item. They offered me a $7.40 promotional offer which is an insult after the damage this caused.

I purchased a replacement [REDACTED] charging case from Amazon. Last night I placed it on a wireless charger before bed. My wife and I awoke at 5:50 a.m. due to a burning electrical smell. The charging case got so hot it melted. It destroyed the [REDACTED] and the wireless charger as well. The charger was on top of a blanket and thank God it didn’t catch filre.
