The product, in the report: Park Play Cordless Drill Set, 3.6 Volt, Year of Production 2019, RoHS Blue Hard Plastic with black rubber grip, rotating head, 9 inches long
I was charging my Park Play Cordless Drill. It began to pop loudly and smoke. I quickly unplugged the charger from the wall outlet. However, the drill started smoking even more, smelling of burning plastic. As the smoke filled the kitchen and living room, my husband grabbed the drill and threw it out the back door into the snow. The drill continued to smoke for at least another five minutes. Hours later when we retrieved the drill, the plastic/rubber handle is melted and fused together. Very scary and dangerous!
