The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: 3/4inch twisted nylon rope

I bought 200 feet of 3/4 inch twisted nylon rope from Rope King through Amazon.com. I unrolled the rope off the reel for some tree work and found two places where strands of the rope were cut completely through. I sent 2 e-mails to Rope King a week apart and when I got no response I called and spoke to [REDACTED], the customer rep. She told me she was not authorized to discuss the safety of the rope and sent me to someone’s voicemail. After another week I figured I’m not going to get a response, but I think someone needs to look at the product this company is selling for heavy duty work. The rope type I bought was Rope King TN-34200.
