The product, in the report: Craftsmen folding knife red
Craftsmen folding knife purchased at Lowe’s. First time I went to use the knife to open a package, the locking mechanism that keeps the blade open did not work. The blade came down on my right index finger cutting it to the bone. It required immediate medical attention. I called Craftsmen, they said to return the knife to Lowe’s which I did. They refunded the price of the knife but refused to pull that product. I had medical bills, loss of work, not to mention obvious pain and suffering from the injury. In hindsight I should have secure the services of a lawyer. I fear that defective knife is still being sold and that someone else will suffer a similar or worse injury.
