I owned a FATMAX Powerit 1000A Jump starter/compressor. The unit started running on it’s own while we were out. It got so hot the compressor button collapsed into the unit and I could not turn the unit off. It continued to run on its own until the battery went dead. I kept it outside and poured water on the unit to cool it down. I did contact Stanley Tools customer service. Not much in the way of concern.
