The product, in the report: None of those categories really fit - it is a pvc, 50-foot, hose to fit an air compressor... could be used for many needs.... support a nail gun, air brush, any air-forced equipment. Lowes carried 3 hoses. All made in China. There was one in a box that was different that this one, maybe it was safe??
I recently purchased a PVC hose for an air compressor from Lowes. Clearly marked “Made in China”. Wherever it was made, when I put it (unwrapped) in my garage, it omitted a very strong, offensive, chemical, toxic odor. I placed it outside in extreme heat for 3 days and nights before bringing it back inside; thinking it would ‘air out’. It didn’t. It was just as offensive when I brought it back in and soon the smell permeated the area. It only took a very few minutes for my eyes to water and my dog would not even come into the room!!! Needless to say, I took it back and was told it was not the first one to be returned because of the smell! I know we can’t stop giving China our jobs or our money, but shouldn’t there be an enforcement to protect our health??
