The product, in the report: DEWALT DXAEJ14 Jump Starter with Digital Compressor and 3.1A USB Ports
My husband Used the DEWALT DXAEJ14 Jump Starter with Digital Compressor to start a dead car. Sparked like crazy and did not start vehicle. Had to be towed. Dealership replaced the dead battery, but a fuse in the car was also blown. Used it again last week to jump start a motorcycle (owner does mechanic work). The polarity alarm went off on the device because the red and black cables are actually reversed!! That’s right — on the device the black cable is really the positive one, and the red is negative — (not what the manual says)manufacturing defect. Read the reviews of this product, I am not the only one. At least there was no fire like some other owners experienced.
