The reports, as CPSC published them
Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.
Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: 12 volt tire pump
1/18/2015 I bought a Car And Driver brand car battery powered tire pump model CD-AC2133 with an integral pressure gauge. In early March I noticed that it displayed the pressure very inaccurately; 2 to 3 times the actual pressure. I emailed Argento, the company that owned the brand at support@argentobrands.com (1407 Broadway, Suite 2201, NY NY 10018). They sent a replacement pump with exactly the same defect. So I emailed them again 3/26 to alert them to the recurring defect in the second pump and request another replacement. They’ve not sent another replacement, nor taken any action to recall their product with this dangerous common defect.
If someone fails to notice the inaccurate tire pressure on their gauge, they could drive a car, motorcycle, or bicycle with dangerously underinflated tires that could cause steering problems or come off the wheel causing serious injury or death.
Please investigate and get these people to do the right thing as quickly as possible.
