The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

  1. No one hurt

Made Sep 26, 2022, sent to the company Oct 5, 2022, published by CPSC Oct 20, 2022

The product, in the report: Harbor Freight 1000 pound Hydraulic Lift Table 60438

I purchased a hydraulic lift table, item 60438, from Harbor Freight on 9/21/2022. Upon getting it home I went over it with a fine tooth comb considering what happened with their jack stands recently. The welds around the hydraulic unit are unacceptable and unsafe, and harbor freight is refusing to replace the parts or the item, saying it is unavailable. I just purchased this 5 days ago, and to have no support is ridiculous. I have pictures available of these welds, which are unsafe for any lifting application and the fact that this passed inspection given the company’s recent history is ridiculous.

The product, in the report: 4,000 lb capacity cable winch puller.

I almost cut my hands on extremely sharp stamped steel handle and frame of a Haul Master winch while unboxing it.
