Ordered rock crusher from Amazon. Product and seller in China. Product was so cheaply made, it broke in several places over time. Six months in, the crusher is broken and the crushing plates won’t stay in place and one of them shot out of the machine with force. It’s dangerous and I feel Amazon isn’t heading my warnings about this product. Here is the Amazon review I attempted to post but it disappeared. Also included is my latest chat conversation with Amazon Customer Service on two different occasions. I told Amazon a week ago, that the machine is disintegrating and not safe. It remains as of today, on their website. Here is the review I tried to submit: I didn’t want to do this but I feel compelled to after having tried to make the best of a bad situation over a period of about six months wherein this machine disassembled itself. The seller refused to refund. Amazon refused to refund. I’m considering filing a complaint with the Consumer Safety office because the crushing plates won’t stay in place and the rear one has flown out twice and once hit my husband’s hand. First of all, the motor is not made for North American electrical standards and it doesn’t come with a plug. After a couple of weeks of research and talking to an electrician, we put a plug on that worked. This wasn’t mentioned clearly in the product description and after 300.00 dollars in shipping and handling costs. NONE of the bolts or screws have lock washers and, after repeatedly tightening, one came out leading to damage to a bracket inside the chute that the ore is fed into. Debris kept jamming behind the bent bracket and became a constant problem. Next, the adjustment knob for how fine rocks are crushed sheared. I went back and forth with the seller and finally agreed to a partial refund at that point and they sent us a new knob. Next, the crushing plates began to come loose and detach completely. We tried everything to keep the bolts tight to no avail. The plates will NOT stay in. The rear plate came out of the crusher at a pretty high speed. After dealing with the seller and Amazon denying us a refund of the balance - 700.00 - we have a 250 pound paperweight.
