The product, in the report: Ridgid R2401 trim router Model R2401
While using a Ridgid R2401 trim router to trim a wood countertop the router jumped off of the piece being routed and out of my right hand and across my left hand. It gouged a 3” long by 1/2” wide and 2” long by 1/2” wide cut in the back of my left hand. It continued traveling across the table and onto the ground still running. There is no safety cutoff switch on this tool! I was transported to the emergency room to get stitches and bandages. The accident occurred on Monday July 12, 2021.
