The product, in the report: Chicago Electric 9.6 v cordless variable speed rotary tool kit item 69946.

I bought a Chicago Electric variable speed 9 volt cordless rotary tool kit from harbor freight about 9 months ago. I tried to use it a day ago with the lowest speed and it worked ok for about 26 seconds then it changed to the highest speed suddenly causing the item I was using it on to suddenly fly away from the tool I turned it off and on again but it would only run in the highest speed providing a dangerous tool. The item cannot be returned as the Warranty has expired and now I must stop using it as it is dangerous. The item # is 69946.
