The product, in the report: Coupling for an air hose installed on an air compressor

The consumer stated that he was taking a part off his car with an impact tool that is powered by the air compressor at 100 psi. Two minutes after the Coupling part broke into two pieces, freeing the power tool from the main hose that is attached to the air compressor system. This hose was placed between the consumer’s legs. Immediately after, the main hose continued violently moving acting as a “whip”. The consumer stepped on the hose, pressing it against the floor, and continued to uncouple the other end of the hose freeing it from the air compressor system.

The consumer thinks this product poses an injury hazard to the consumer and that it should be recalled. He stated that he has been working with this kind of product for over 30 years and this is the first time that a coupling part has literally break into pieces.
