The product, in the report: Elegoo Centauri Carbon, this is the enclosed 3d printer that Elegoo sells.
The cable that connects to the toolhead of this printer is breaking out of it’s sheathe after only 700 hours of use. There have also been reports of sparking and thermal runaway with this 3d printer, and the cable is more than 3x the recommended bend radius. Their only solution to this was to send another cable, which is only because it is under warranty, and there is no other way to address it. There is no injuries yet, but a good chance of a fire. I was using the product for it’s intended purpose, 3d printing, and having the cable where the manufacturers sent it. I had thermal runaway issues as well, spiking up to 400 degrees celcius when it limits to 320.
