The product, in the report: A white CO detector with no serial number or other identifying markings. Product link on Amazon : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075FQWFP5/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I purchased 2 co detectors, both of which have a defective positive terminal contact. Basically the battery will not make a solid connection with the terminal, rendering the device inactive. Luckily the devices failed from the outset for me but it is entirely possible that these devices are installed in many homes and will quietly fail in the future.
