The product, in the report: JKD-512COM a combined detector of Smoke & Carbon Monoxide detector, with LED display. I believe it is manufactured by Shenzhen Jikaida Technology Co., Ltd, but the one I have is branded and labeled “Akrikon”
The CO and smoke detector combination unit with model number JKD-512COM that I purchased from Amazon doesn’t work properly and doesn’t indicate that it doesn’t work properly without manually checking it. The batteries drain within a few minutes to a few weeks. There is no low battery alarm.
Many other consumers have complained about this issue as well in their reviews of the product. This false sense of security might cause deaths.
