The product, in the report: Titan gun safe with digital lock, manufactured and sold by www.snapsafe.com
I purchased a Titan mode gun safe from SnapSafe.com in June of 2016. About a week ago I noticed the safe wasn’t locked, even though the door was closed and the door bolts were fully extended. After changing the battery on the digital lock, it still wouldn’t engage. I finally had to take the door lining off and tap the back of the lock housing to get the lock to engage. This same issue has happened again just a few days ago. I believe there could be a very serious issue with the locks on these gun safes. The results could be tragic for somebody that keeps loaded guns in their gun safe and unbeknownst to them, it doesn’t lock when they close the door and extend the door bolts. In my case, anybody, including a child, could have walked up and opened the door on a safe I believed to be locked.
