The product, in the report: Product: BBRKIN Biometric Rifle Gun Safe Model: QCJJ01 Serial Number: SQC2022242288 CPSC Recall Number: #24-128 Date Purchased: January 6, 2023 Purchased From: Amazon.com Amazon Order ID: [REDACTED] Original Purchase Price: $500 Seller: BBRKIN / Ningbo Moyumaoyi Co. Product: BBRKIN Biometric Rifle Gun Safe Model: QCJJ01 Serial Number: SQC2022242288 CPSC Recall Number: #24-128 Date Purchased: January 6, 2023 Purchased From: Amazon.com Amazon Order ID: [REDACTED] Original Purchase Price: $488 Seller: BBRKIN / Ningbo Moyumaoyi Co. Ltd. Seller Email: support@bbrkin.com

I purchased this safe in January 2023 to securely store my firearms in my home. I have three children at home, including one child with autism and one with ADHD. Approximately one year ago, my 12-year-old son was able to open this safe using the biometric fingerprint feature without authorization or registration. This is the exact dangerous defect described in CPSC Recall #24-128. On February 23, 2026, I became aware of CPSC Recall #24-128 and immediately verified that my serial number SQC2022242288 falls within the recalled range of SQC202121000 through SQC202247603. I immediately removed the batteries from the safe and switched to using only the physical key. SELLER DENIAL OF FEDERAL RECALL: I contacted BBRKIN at support@bbrkin.com on February 23, 2026 to report the recalled product and request a remedy. The seller responded with the following statement: Hi, this safe has not been recalled. You can use it with confidence. This response is factually false and directly contradicts CPSC Recall #24-128 published on cpsc.gov. The seller is actively misleading a consumer with documented proof of a child safety incident and three children in the home, in clear denial of a federal safety recall. I also reported this to Amazon.com under their A-to-Z Guarantee program on the same date. Amazon case reference: [REDACTED]. WHAT I AM REQUESTING: I am requesting that the CPSC take immediate action against BBRKIN for actively denying a federal safety recall to a consumer. I am also concerned that other consumers who purchased this same product may be receiving the same false denial and are unknowingly keeping their children at risk right now. I am requesting a full refund of $448 my original purchase price of and formal enforcement action against this seller for their denial of a federal safety recall.
