The product, in the report: Adams Rite 4300 SteelHawk Lockset https://www.adamsrite.com/en/site/adamsritecom/products/deadlatches/steel-hawk-4300-electrified-deadlatch-elatch/
Adams Rite Model 4300 SteelHawk failure of internal screw or brass roller mechanism causes lock to become inoperable from inside or outside. This will cause entrapment as door will not release with inside trim or outside trim. We have 7 of them deployed in the field and all have had to replaced at least once for the same issue. This is extra dangerous as these are designed to be used as a card reader or electrically controlled lockset on the front a public business. There is no manual override of the locking latchbolt when this part fails.
