The product, in the report: HOME SECURITY DVR WITH 8 CAMERAS
We purchased a security dvr with 8 cameras. One of the wires included has 8 power connectors for the cameras. If you don’t use all 8 cameras and one of the connectors touches the back metal plate of the dvr, it causes sparks. It also causes sparks when they were connected for the first time too.
We called [REDACTED] at the company of distributues the item and explained it to him. He said it sounded normal and to put some electrical tape on the un-used connectors.
It is not normal.
