The product, in the report: USI Electric, Inc USI-5204 electric/battery back up interconnected white smoke detector

I purchased USI Electric, Inc USI-5204 smoke detectors a few years age and have countless false alarms. They are always at night and usually between 2am and 4am. I have tried vacuuming thinking that maybe dust or cobwebs were setting them off, but there is know way there is that much dust and cobwebs. I have done some research on this product and have found that there have been many consumers having the same problem with the same product. The fear is that this is building and level on complacency with a safety product that can be very dangerous and lives maybe at risk. These products should be recalled proactively before someone does get injured or die.
