The product, in the report: JOSEOZSTA Fire Extinguisher(2 Count)-Extinguisher for Home, car, Work, Camping,Boat-Suitable for Extinguishing Solid Material Fires, Liquid Fires, Electrically Fires, Cooking Oil Fires (RED) [REDACTED] [REDACTED]
Amazon is filled with dozens of uncertified and untested fire extinguishers. They are not NFPA or UL listed and they have very minimalistic safety features. The most egregious one is at this URL: [REDACTED] The description says “It is not just a tool, but also an ornament. It not only ensure your fire safety, but also embellish your life. In case of fire, the spraying distance of 6.56 ft can ensure your safety. When you need to escape from a fire, you can spray your whole body with the fire extinguisher, which can effectively protect you from high temperature and fire burning.” This is unsafe and extremely dangerous. I am also concerned that these Chinese fire extinguishers are water based, yet they state they can put out grease and electrical fires. I left a negative review of their product and they contacted me several times trying to get me to remove my review. I also contacted Amazon, but they said that I should file a report at the CPSC.
