The product, in the report: Vfauosit GM06BM Kitchen, bathroom faucet. Pull down Kitchen Faucet/sprayer). Model insert card models stated are 06BNV 06MBV B06BNV B06MBV 06BGV 06CPV 06MGV and 060RBV. Mine is GV06BNV which representative states is NOT part of the recall). My card omits the GV in the model name so I believe it IS the same model-regardless of their statement) as indicated on the installation guide within the retail box. You may want to check all models and dates (as my purchase was on Sep 22 2023. Models and the GV designation as well as the dates MAY need amended! I do not believe Vfauosit has been candid and displayed a concern in my case, and possibly not as forthcoming with dates/models with the CSPC as well? The link to the recalled item on amazon is the SAME as the link to MY product (different date) to aid in also identifying it as the SAME product ( my opinion ). that link is for BOTH: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GH9QMS4?ref=fed_asin_title which is a missing amazon page (removed).
Contacted Vfauosit ([REDACTED]) about recall of their faucet(s) that are exactly the same as mine (and tested positive for lead using lead test kit). My model is GM06BNV and my model tested positive as well. I reached out to inform them and ask if they were aware this model may contain lead as well. I received this message back: “Dear customer , Your faucet is not in the recall list . We will strictly comply with the recall release approved by CPSC. Thank you for your understanding and patience. Best Regards, Vfauosit service team”
Do you have a specific (approved) test that I should apply to this faucet to verify lead content? This may very well prove to be a model that should be incluided in the recall I think.
