Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

    The product, in the report: Peerless 6 spray massage/hand shower Model/SKU # 76601SN 8077611994

On March 28, 2012 I purchased a Peerless massage/hand shower. Model/SKU 76601SN 8077611994. Last week I was in the shower when under water pressure the hand held became detached from the hose. It flew across the shower, slammed into the shower wall, bounced off and hit me on the back. It then fell to the shower floor barely missing my foot. I was not badly injured. I have a small stall shower so I could not have been standing in the line of fire. However in a full size bathtub/shower a person could be seriously injured or even killed by this heavy flying projectile.
