The product, in the report: KICIMPRO Kitchen Faucet with Pull-Down Sprayermodel KM800-01-06BN (ASIN B092VQTNW1). Brushed-nickel (satin silver) finish over stainless-steel body, single-handle design. High-arc spout approximately 15 inches tall with about 9-inch reach and 360 swivel. Detachable pull-down sprayer on a ~23-inch hose offers stream and spray modes. Rated flow 1.8 GPM at 60 psi. Designed for single-hole installation but shipped with a 10-inch matching deck plate for 3-hole sinks. Standard 3/8-inch hot and cold water supply lines included. Shipped in a brown corrugated box labeled Kicimpro Kitchen Faucet and the model number above; box contained the faucet body, sprayer head, deck plate, supply hoses, rubber gaskets, mounting nut/bolt, and a slim instruction leaflet. Sold exclusively on Amazon.com between January 2024 and May 2025 for about $35. Intended use: residential kitchen sink faucet supplying water for drinking, cooking, and cleaning.

I purchased a Kicimpro brand kitchen faucet with pull-down sprayer (brushed nickel, single-handle, high-arc model) from Amazon in early September 2024 and installed it as the main faucet on our kitchen sink. All household drinking and cooking water came through this faucet, including water used for an infant and a toddler.

By mid-October 2024 I developed persistent headaches, extreme fatigue, memory loss, and difficulty concentrating. The children became irritable and lost their appetites. These symptoms continued for months and disrupted daily life and work.

On May 29 2025 Amazon sent a product-safety alert linking to CPSC recall KICIMPRO Brand Kitchen Faucets Recalled Due to Dangerous Lead Exposure for Young Children. The notice said the faucet may leach lead at levels far above federal limits and offered only a $35 refund.

We immediately stopped using the faucet and switched to bottled water. Because the faucet was our sole water source for nine months, everyone in the home was likely exposed to unsafe lead levels. The product created a serious health hazard and caused significant harm to both adults and young children.
