No incident, no one hurt Made Sep 30, 2026, sent to the company Oct 13, 2026, published by CPSC Oct 27, 2026
The product, in the report: Wellis Monte Rosa premium residential hot tub spa, approximately 91 x 91 x 37, with one lounge seat and five upright seats. The spa has 64 hydrotherapy jets, three 3-HP hydromassage pumps, LED lighting, and an integrated electrical control system.
I am reporting a Wellis hot tub/spa after serious electrical and water-intrusion concerns developed following warranty service. The spa was originally operating normally except for a failed motor. After warranty repairs were performed, the unit developed leaking, water intrusion around electrical/lighting components, repeated breaker tripping, damaged components, and ongoing operational problems.
The spa is used by adults and family members in a residential setting. No one was injured because we stopped using it. An electrician advised us not to refill or operate the spa due to the combination of water intrusion and electrical issues. We are concerned that continued use could create a risk of electrical shock, fire, or serious injury. The spa has remained empty and unusable since these concerns were identified.
