The product, in the report: Saluspa Inflatable Hot Tub
Spa pump was replaced due to recall by Bestway USA for fire related potential hazards. The replacement airjet spa pump was received and the replacement until began to leak water internally from the unit. The internal leak caused an inconsistent tripping of the GFCI attached cord posing a electrocution shock hazard!
I contacted Bestway and was told to file a warranty claim. The unit is under the extended warranty per the current pending class action lawsuit against Bestway USA. The warrant claim was submitted on May 29th and all supporting photos were attached as requested.
After almost 3 weeks I contacted Bestway USA again for the 5th time. The gave me the run around and told mt to call the recall hotline. After speaking with the recall department they said I needed to call Bestway USA again.
I contacted them again today June 8, 2026 and was told there was no supervisor available to speak to. I followed up on the warranty site and since my call earlier today my warrant claim had been COMPLETLY DELETED.

I came home one day before the recall came about and the hot tub was off. Looked around and found that the cord end that goes into my house was black like it tried to catch fire. The machine would not work at all. Had to replace my outlet. My husband cut the end of the cord and put a new connector on it, because we didnt want to have to buy a new hot tub. Now the thing wont bubble at all. It comes on and heats but no bubbles. Since there is a recall I will turn it in to get replacement. Was not happy at all it could have burnt down my house, killed me or my kids or my dogs. I could have lost everything. [REDACTED]
