The product, in the report: This is a inflatable Hot Tub by Saluspa model Hawaii. It’s a bluish grey outside and white inside
I have a inflatable hot tub that was setup in November. My family and I have used this hot tub up until this past Sunday when I found a huge problem.. Inside the filtration system is 3 pumps. The pump that circulates the heat and filter is the issue. Last week the water began to turn an odd light green but yellow residue in the filter all ing with a noise within the filtration system. After testing and making sure it wasn’t an algae I found that it was a massive amount of copper leaching into the water. I then opened the filtration system and took apart the motor that was making the noise to find that the impeller wore a hole through the cheap plastic that housed the windings exposing the copper inserts of the motor. This is a major danger for electrocution. The GFCI that comes in the plug never tripped nor was there an error code. This motor is 120v that could have potentially killed someone.
