  1. No one hurt

Made Dec 20, 2021, sent to the company Feb 16, 2022, published by CPSC Mar 3, 2022

The product, in the report: Fidget Blanket activity blanket for the elderly Fidget blanket had no tags on it. No identification of any kind attached to it.

The consumer is concerned about the safety of the Fidget blanket because she thinks it is poorly made. The consumer stated that she purchased the blanket for her husband who has Alzheimer and is in the nursing home. On the bottom of the blanket is a button that holds a ribbon. Six little cords are hooked onto the ribbon. Her husband was able to pull the button off of the blanket nd the cords off of the ribbon.

On 12/09/2021, one of the nurses walked into her husband’s room at the nursing home and saw that he had puffy cheeks. When she checked his mouth, he had one of the cords in his mouth. All six of the cords were off of the blanket, but they could only find 4. The consumer is not sure if her husband swallowed the other two but was advised by the doctor to keep watch to see if the cords pass through.

The consumer returned the product however, she does have pictures of the product.
