The product, in the report: Child’s Themed Blanket
This caller is reporting a safety hazard from manufacturing regarding her child’s blanket. Her three year old daughter has been using it since the purchase three months prior to the event, however she brought it to the caller around 3:25PM on July 26th, 2019 and told her that, “It hurts”. The caller examined the blanket and found a needle attached to the blanket but when she pulled it thinking that the child had gotten into her sewing kit she realized it was from the border of the blanket sewing with the blanket thread still in the eye of the needle and it was still attached to the border of the blanket She is reporting this incident as a laceration and infiltration of eye or skin hazard. There are no injuries being reported The caller attempted to call the phone number listed but she has been unable to make contact yet.

The product, in the report: Children’s Blanket Disney - Finding Dory 62” x 90” ASIN B01EVMYM4M Item Model No. 5926198
We purchased a Disney Finding Dory Blanket 62” x 90” on July 21st and gave it to our grandsone for his 2nd birthday on July 31st. He used the blanket for naps and overnight.
Within the first 2 weeks (I believe it was August 10th), it came to our attention that the fabric ribbing that was stitched along the edges had become unsewn. Our grandson’s nanny came to check on him as he had been crying during his nap (very unusual) -- she found that approximately 40” of the edging was loose and was wrapped around our grandson’s neck! To think what might have happened is terrifying.
My daughter returned the blanket to me and we feel this product should immediately be recalled before any child suffers any injury.
I would be happy to send photos of the blanket or mail the blanket to you for inspection.
