The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Wooden Bench

The consumer says that there is a design flaw on the bench. She says the leg on either end of the bench are close together. Every time someone sits on the bench and has to make an adjustment, a person would tip backwards along with the bench.

She is concerned with the spacing between the legs is 7” and the length of the bench is 35 1/2”. She says she has tried several ways to remedy the problem but none of them work.

The consumer contacted the manufacturer today who told her that this particular bench has been discontinued but they would not comment why
