  1. No one hurt

Made Feb 27, 2022, sent to the company Aug 17, 2022, published by CPSC Apr 14, 2022

The product, in the report: It is an Outdoor Rated extension cord made by Intertek 13A 125 v 1625 w

I had two different extension cords malfunction. They were bought at Walmart at the same time. They are rated for outdoor use. The first one burned where you plug it in and charred the wood on my deck. I threw that cord out thinking it was an anomaly. The second cord was used to hang up a Christmas decoration, fairy ball, and also melted and blackened the cord. It tripped the breaker so didn’t cause a fire. Both cords were purchased at the same time from the same manufacturer.
